Tiedemann Wines, a wholesale wine distributor, is a locally-owned family business in Elkhart, Ind. Vintner and businessman Carl Tiedemann took his passion for discovering exceptional wines and combined it with more than 30 years of business experience in the Elkhart community. His excitement for sharing wine with others sparked the creation of Tiedemann Wines, a company that strives to build on its existing business reputation and to be known as a source of education and wine knowledge.
Through relationships in Napa Valley, Tiedemann Wines has the distribution rights to supply the area with unique wines that have never been available in Indiana. In addition to representing a number of wineries in its portfolio, Tiedemann Wines also has wine produced for its own labels. Under the Glenwood Cellars label, Tiedemann Wines is producing a Sauvignon Blanc and a Cabernet Sauvignon. Under the Tiedemann label, it is producing the Tiedemann Signature Series Red Wine. These wines add depth to a unique wine portfolio, and allow owner Carl Tiedemann the opportunity to pursue his other passion of creating his own wines. Working one-on-one with his favorite Napa Valley winemakers, Carl gets to carefully blend wines to get exactly what he wants for his own wines.
Tiedemann Wines opened in the fall of 2010, while Carl’s other business, The Tiedemann Group, has been in the market for over 30 years. Since the beginning, the Tiedemann team has prioritized customer service and strived to exceed customer expectations. By providing an extensive background in wine selection, Tiedemann Wines assists customers in developing successful wine programs.
